Divine Performing Arts' shows consist primarily of vocal music and dance. The company gains its creative inspiration from traditional Chinese culture, and seeks to further this heritage through the artistic forms of classical and ethnic Chinese dance. This is our company's mission.
Most of our members practice the discipline of Falun Gong. The Divine Performing Arts artist begins with a technical mastery of classical Chinese dance or classical music, and by way of traditional performing techniques, brings to life on stage China's inspired classical culture along with the ideals that shaped it, such as reverence and virtue, goodness, beauty, kindness, and harmony. Through these the performer seeks to carry forward the arts of a traditional culture.
By presenting an experience that's truly authentic, pure, and beautiful, we aim to capture the substance and spirit of premodern China's classical culture. We would like to think the show will provide you with not only an artistic feast, but also a deeper appreciation for the beauty of the human spirit.
